Bob Lyddon, General Secretary of IBOS Association, comments in Insider magazine:

“The banks are being run by the Treasury, the Financial Conduct Authority and the Bank of England,” says Bob Lyddon, general secretary of banking network IBOS Association.  “The impact [of Basel III] has added to the pressure.  Small businesses will be lucky to get interest rates in single figures. What the banks want is very demanding and you have to be very confident to take that on.”
