IBOS member Banco Santander, along with Oxentia Foundation, have launched Santander X Global Challenge | Helping Businesses Prosper, with the aim of supporting SMEs’ digital transition.
The challenge is aimed at entrepreneurs with innovative, scalable solutions to help SMEs — the main driver of economic growth, job creation and social unity — digitalise and be more efficient.
- digitalise their business through online channels and tools that can competitively increase the supply of their products or services and help them find new opportunities, customers and markets; and
- be more efficient, understand their finances better, find more opportunities, reduce risk and automate operations to enhance their long-term strategy.
With four million SME customers, this global challenge builds on Banco Santander’s support for SMEs.
In 2020, Euromoney named Banco Santander the world’s Best Bank for SMEs for the third time in five years at its Excellence in Leadership Awards.
