AS “UniCredit Bank” started its business inLatvia in 1996 as AS “Vereinsbank Rīga” and during these years the bank hassustained its position in the Latvian banking market. Especially during thelast few years the Bank has developed successfully. By rebranding, the bank hasexpanded its operations in the Baltic region, creating a Pan-Baltic bank withbranches in all three countries (banking operations in Lithuania – since 2001,in Estonia – since 2004).
