UniCredit Corporate Banking (UCCB) is the Italian bank, within UniCredit Group, dedicated to medium-and large-sized Corporates and Organizations. It is the only bank in Italy completely focused on corporate banking. Usually, competitors are organized with Corporate Divisions, embedded in a “general” bank structure. We strongly believe that focalization is the key to provide high quality services. From this point of view, our services are designed in accordance with corporate customers’ needs only.
After the UniCredit Group-Capitalia merger Unicredit Corporate Banking now has over 100,000 Corporate Customers representing a 12% share of the market with an annual
turnover in excess of 3 million euro.
Our team of qualified professionals dedicated to specific corporate portfolios has a strongly independent decision-making power and at regional marketing level receives support from specialists in the Corporate Finance, Derivatives, Foreign and Services sectors.
In all the staff numbers 6,000, with over 1.500 relations managers handling day-to-day relations with Corporate Customers.
Operating alongside this network are the 5,000 UniCredit Banca, Unicredit Banca di Roma, and Banco di Sicilia branches whose territorial coverage in Italy ensures the development of ordinary banking business with the competitive advantage of maximum closeness to the Customer.
Apart from credit allocation, UniCredit Corporate Banking offers support to Corporate Customers in their internationalisation processes, in the search for new opportunities and new markets, in fine-tuning and implementing innovative projects. It can provide help through its advanced financial products and services, designed to improve the financial balance of a company, to support its development plans and ad hoc projects, even with the use of customised software in specific economic areas of business.
The complementary nature of the distribution and operations networks means that the new setup can offer Italian companies an opportunity in terms of a closer relationship with the bank, a better quality of that relationship and a wider range of services offered.
